  • More information on Brazil:

Brazil – with the country’s name, one associates endless Amazon jungle, wonderful beaches, Rio de Janeiro, carnival and samba. This is all correct but in reality: Brazil is much more than a country of the superlatives!

Brazil, a country of immense proportions and contrasts, is a mysterious attraction for many people – The country, alone, is almost the size of Europe and covers half of the South American continent. The climate changes from the permanent warm, tropic north over all sub tropic variants to the moderate South. Since the 16th century – when Portuguese have begun to settle in the country – Brazil had always a magic attraction on foreigners. First there was the gold and then rubber and coffee, and today it is above all the rhythm and the exotic that attracts tourists. People over there show a lot of happiness, kindness and spontaneity. The biggest country in South America is a mirror of fascinating pictures.

    More information about your tour:

This package unites two lodges: Pousada Piuval and Jaguar Ecological Lodge. The first one is part of the Fazenda Ipiriranga working ranch, a family-run pousada located 110 kilometers south of Cuiabá and 10 kilometres from Poconé. It features 20 comfortable rooms with air conditioning, minibar, ceiling fan, TV, wireless internet access, private bathroom, and windows with insect-proof screens. Its restaurant offers excellent local food. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, a volleyball court, playground, mountain bikes and observation towers. The other lodge is the most southerly of those located along the Transpantaneira highway – but the extra driving time is worth the effort! The remote location offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy the Pantanal at its most pristine. The reserve and surrounding ranches are among the best places in Latin America to see a jaguar – approximately one-third of the visitors who stay for three or more days see one in the immediate surroundings.

    More information on visa requirements:

Australians are required to pre-arrange a visa. Visa normally will give you the right to spend 90 days in the country.
